SKYYGUARD is the name your neighbors trust!
Here’s Why Your Neighbors Love SKYYGUARD
We’re Class A General Contractors currently specializing in residential and commercial roofing projects throughout Denver and the surrounding area. That’s a designation you’ll be hard-pressed to find among the more-than-600 roofing companies in the area, and it means great things for your project:
On the SKYYGUARD staff you’ll also find former licensed insurance professionals who are more familiar with the ins-and-outs of insurance claims than the overwhelming majority of roofers you’ll find selling roofing materials and services in Denver.
We’ll help you navigate the often-murky waters of roofing insurance claims. Which materials and services will be covered – and which excluded – by your policy?
Increasingly, insurance companies are adding exclusions to property policies which allow them to deny claims for repair of roofs which are still functional, even though they’ve been damaged by the weather (and may be unsightly as a result).
SKYYGUARD roofing experts will help you with every phase of the project, including assistance in getting the most out of the property insurance you’ve paid for.
SKYYGUARD a call.
We want to earn your trust, too… and we’ll work hard to earn our next great online review from you.
SKYYGUARD: Experts In Every Type Of Roofing
These are a few of the most currently-popular roof types in Denver and the surrounding area.
Commonly self-adhering non-woven fabric that is embedded with granules, modified bitumen roofing is installed in overlapping rolls, and can be made from a variety of materials… today’s systems are typically modified during manufacturing for greater strength and durability.
Metal roofing is quite common throughout the Rocky Mountain region, where snow accumulation on rooftops can spell disaster. Snow stops are often installed on metal roofs to keep these disasters from occurring… but watch out: Insurance companies are increasingly declaring “cosmetic” the repair or replacement of metal roofs which have only been dented (as by hail), and not penetrated… and denying claims for any repair or replacement work as a result.
Today’s shingle products go far beyond the traditional asphalt shingles. Even asphalt shingles come in different varieties, including laminated shingles (also called “architectural” or “dimensional” shingles), layered to provide thickness and depth that lets them resemble slate or wood shake-shingles… but at a lower price (and lower risk of fire damage).
The attractive look of natural slate roofing is also very popular in Colorado. Slate’s heavy, though, and your home or building will need a thorough structural inspection to make sure it can handle the load. Today’s roofing market also offers concrete tiles, which are a bit lighter and less expensive to install… and are often manufactured to give a similar attractive appearance to that of slate.
TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) roofing is a type of fused “membrane” of polyprophylene and ethylene-propylene rubber, sometimes seamless, and typically adhered or mechanically attached to the roof in a way that makes it resemble a solid “coating.” TPO roofing can be an excellent choice for commercial buildings, and for some residential applications (most commonly out-buildings).
