Experience
SKYYGUARD has done over 800 re-roofing projects all while maintaining an impeccable safety record. We have experience with both Commercial and Residential roofing covers, historical buildings, Residential Homeowners Associations and Residential Complexes. We have done medium and large scale projects with all types of roofing materials including asphalt shingles, standing seam metal shingles and cedar shakes. We also work with Thermoplastic polyolefin, or TPO for short, particularly for new low slope roof installations.
Safety
Safety on our projects is our number one priority. When we are on a job we place barricades, warning signs and property protective coverings delineating safe and unsafe areas to ensure the safety of any staff that remains on location. We follow all OSHA standards for the safety of our personnel on the job.
Site safety includes having a secure area to store materials surrounded by a safety barrier to keep materials and debris from falling on adjacent surfaces. We keep all materials in the secure area unless they are being used for the job at hand. When we finish for the day, we do a full clean up of loose materials and return them to the secure area so they are available for the next day and nothing is left out as a safety hazard.
We provide a team leader who performs a daily inspection of the sanitary and safety measures to ensure they are being upheld. To mitigate environmental risks we have dumpsters on site to store debris.
Technical Aspects
We are experts at the logistics of completing roofing projects. We will confirm in our bid whether we have, or can obtain, the capacity to transport materials and equipment for the project. We establish relationships with local business and suppliers where possible to minimize delays in receiving the materials for a project. In addition, where available, practical and advisable, we will use environmentally friendly recycled materials.
Inspection and Acceptance
Ongoing inspections and final inspections and approvals are critical to the success of a government project. Ongoing inspections ensure that every step of every roofing job is being done to the appropriate safety standards, building codes, and customer requirements. Ongoing inspections also ensure that any problems or concerns are caught early and dealt with appropriately. For all of the inspections done over the life of a project, all members of the team at SKYYGUARD, from the CEO, to the Project Manager, to the Foreman, play a role in ensuring that all work is performed to stringent standards of safety and follows proper workmanship practices and procedures.
SKYYGUARD looks forward to the final inspection and approval of any work we do. We know that at the end of the project, we will have met and sometimes exceeded your expectations for the quality of work and service you asked of us. We are confident, and have numerous positive reviews to support, that you will be satisfied with the results of any job we complete for you.
